About the Project
The 1918 historic JC Penney Building and Paramount Theater is being brought back to life in this extraordinary project that will house Clarksdale, Mississippi nonprofit Griot Arts. Shine has participated with Kudzu Collective and the design team in facilitating community engagement conversations and completed programming and preliminary design for this project as Griot Arts raises funds for this effort.
